The honest part: the text and illustrations in this book were made with the help of generative AI tools, then written, chosen, edited and arranged by a human author. Retold for young readers from the Filipino folk tale “The Legend of the Pineapple” (Alamat ng Pinya). The story is in the public domain. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you find out later.
